Dawn received her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology in 2017 from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She has 10 years of experience working with families and seniors in Long Term Care environments. She’s treated young adults, adults, and aging adults struggling with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, substance use as well as severe and chronic mental illness. Dawn has advanced training in treating trauma in families and couples.

Dawn is passionate about ensuring a cohesive therapeutic alliance that focuses on a collaborative relationship. She believes that providing a safe environment aids in healing and recovery. Dawn works within a systemic approach, using person centered therapy, mindfulness, and trauma focused CBT techniques. She will work with the client to establish a collaborative approach that empowers the client to take control over their recovery at a pace they are comfortable with while uncovering and emphasizing strengths that the client already possess and help establish additional skills to encourage growth.
