Erin Hoffman

Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)

Erin has 15 years of experience treating an expansive range of issues including depression, anxiety disorders, substance use disorders as well as severe and chronic mental illness.  She has treated individuals of many ages including children, adolescents, and adults.  Erin’s career in mental health treatment began with treating adolescents as well as adults in underserved areas.  She received her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in counseling from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2012.  She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor.

Erin is passionate about a collaborative relationship between the helper and the person reaching out.  She believes that the person is not synonymous with his or her problem and that all individuals have several of the tools needed to heal when entering therapy, with the therapist assisting in uncovering these tools.  Erin believes that the relationship between one’s thoughts, feelings and behaviors is strong and seeing a new perspective can be powerful.  The past holds clues, but isn’t the blueprint of one’s future.  Erin strives to provide a supportive and nurturing therapeutic space as a place for growth, change, and finding meaning.
